Meeting with Family Court Judges
On May 12 I had the pleasure of attending a Zoom meeting with seven sitting Family Court judges. * The judges kindly shared their time, after hours, with certain members of the family court bar. We discussed a wide range of issues affecting court operations and procedures now and in the future.
Granted, the family court system isn’t perfect. But presiding in the family court isn’t an easy assignment. The judges who sit in the family courts in Connecticut are there because they choose to be. As one family court lawyer who has been practicing for almost 40 years, I appreciate all those current judges who try each day to make life a bit easier for Connecticut families in conflict.
