Lisa J. Cappalli Is Admitted to United States Supreme Court Bar
I’m honored to announce that on June 6, 2024 I was admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. The admissions ceremony took place in the Supreme Court Courtroom in Washington D.C. in the presence of all nine Supreme Court Justices.
The ceremony was solemn, as I swore to uphold the Constitution. It contrasted with the relaxed mood at breakfast earlier in the morning, when Chief Justice Roberts stepped into the room to warmly welcome and congratulate my group.
I was surprised the experience affected me as strongly as it did. Personally humbling. Proud of my country, our Constitution and my profession.
